Mrs. Jeanette Lunsford Todd

Jeanette Todd, 69, wife of James Todd for over 22 years left her earthly home after a courageous fight with cancer on Friday, Feb. 10, 2016. Jeanette was a native of Jessamine County, born Oct. 2, 1947, to the late Grover C. and Lena Mae Switzer Lunsford. In addition to her loving husband James she leaves her memories with son Billy Hisle, fiancé Rhonda Marino, daughter Paula Holmburg, husband David, step children Teresa, Alicia, and Anthony Todd, wife Shannon, grandchildren Alyssa Hicks, husband Jimmy, Brent Hisle, William Aaron and James Holmburg, step grand children RJ, Courtney, and Tyler as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters and step granddaughter Brittany. Jeanette was a special person who took care of many nieces, nephews, and others who needed her loving ways. She touched many lives with her giving spirit. She loved all her family and enjoyed cooking big meals for them and working crossword puzzles, but her passion was Yard Sales and the excitement of finding treasures. A Remembrance Service will be at 1:00 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 14. She will be laid to rest in Wilmore Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Billy Hisle, Anthony Todd, Gilbert Corman, Melvin Corman, Brent Hisle, and Mike Estes. Honorary bearers are James and Aaron Holmburg, Billy Brock, and Steven Davis. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, Feb. 13. Donations may be made in her memroy to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
