FAIR BOARD MEMBER DIES AT FARM HOME

Clarence P. Barr, a native and life long resident of Preble Co and for seveal years a member of the fair board died Tuesday morning at his farm. He had been in failing helath for some time. On Wednesday of the recent fair, when he had charge of the art hall, he collapsed and had to be removed to his home, but returned to the fairgound on Friday only to suffer another collapse. He was taken the following day to Reid hospital in Richmond for examination, but later returned to his home.
He is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth and Eleanor at home and Mrs. Mildred Burton of Casstown; a son, Hilbert of Dayton four brothers, John C of Jackson Twp, Bruce of Fremont, OH, Wilbur and Frank of Chicago. Two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Ervin of Eldorado and Mrs. John Wehrly of West Manchester..
