Alfred R. (Al) Baldridge, age 61, a 30-year resident of Vallejo, California, died peacefully on Friday, Jan.20, at his home. Alfred was born in Ironton, Ohio, on Jan. 24, 1955 to Russell T. Everman and Mollie (Oney) Baldridge.

Al was a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BA in Sociology and Psychology. He was an active member of the Vallejo Gem and Mineral Society and enjoyed his hobbies of silver casting and stone setting. Al loved to talk with people, so he had many friends. He cared for those around him, especially those that struggled to make ends meet and made a "good" life. Many times he helped people make repairs in their homes or with their autos. After he became disabled due to a work related back injury, he developed a career in computers as a hardware/networking technician. He frequently refurbished and renovated computes for those who could use one to improve their lives.

Al was preceded in death by his parents and grandnephew, Eli. He is survived by his wife; his children; his grandchildren; his brother; his nephews and nieces; and various other grandnieces and grandnephews. A memorial service was held at the chapel of All Souls Cemetery, Vallejo, California with inurnment following.
