Born 23 Sept 1919 to Lonnie A Odom and Anna Belle (Clem) Odom in Boaz, Alabama. 1930 US Census list his residence as Friendship, Alabama. He married Emma Inez Chaffin in 1938, in Alabama. They had two sons, Bobby Lee Odom and Kenneth Ray Odom while in Alabama.
The family moved to Amarillo, Texas and he began working first for an uncle at his service station and then later for Sears in furniture sales.
He died 29 Sept 1950 at the age of 31. His wife and children then moved back to Alabama.
