John E. Wright, 92, Waldron, died at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday 7 Dec 1974 at the Waldron Nursing Home where he had been a patient and in failing health for two years.
Mr. Wright was a retired farmer, a member of the Waldron Community Club and the Waldron Methodist Church.
A lifelong county resident, Mr. Wright was born 15 Mar 1882, a son of William W. and Ella C. Wines Wright. He was married 9 Dec 1909 to Florence I. Durbin and she preceded in death 18 Jul 1942. He was then married to Blanche (Wimbles) Davis in 1953 and she preceded in death 12 Feb 1970.
Survivors include three children, Bernard and Wayne Wright, both of Waldron and Mrs. Kenneth (Ruth) Winn, R. R. 1 Edinburg, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
