Last rites were conducted on Tuesday, 21 July 1942 for Mrs. Florence I. Wright, of west of Waldron, who died at Robert Long hospital in Indianapolis at 3:55 p. m. Saturday following a five-month illness.

The Liberty township woman, who had lived in the county 40 years was a member of the Waldron Methodist church where funeral services were conducted. The Rev. M. R. Kerr officiated. Burial was made in the VanPelt cemetery with D. E. Carmony, St. Paul funeral director, in charge.

Deceased was born August 15, 1889, in Tipton county near Windfall, IN, the daughter of John and Hattie (Austin) Durbin, and was 52 years, 11 months and three days old at the time of death.

On Dec. 15, 1909, she was married to Ernest Wright, and to this union were born three children, who survive with the husband. They are Bernard, of Waldron, and Wayne and Ruth at home. She is also survived by the aged mother, Mrs. Hattie Durbin, of St. Paul; four brothers, George, of St. Paul; Thomas of Pendleton; William of Waldron, and Alfred, of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Bertrice Kerr, of St. Paul; Mrs. Dorothy Todd, of Tipton, and Mrs. Namomi Rush, of Hope; three uncles and several nieces and nephews.
