Dennis Paul Arkebauer, 66, passed away February 14, 2017. He was born December 11, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan and resided in Middleburg, Florida.
Mr. Arkebauer was Retired US Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer, serving from March, 1970 to July, 1993. Dennis loved his time in the Navy and also continued his career, working on aircraft as an Airframes and Power Plants Mechanic after retiring from the Navy.
Mr. Arkebauer was the son of Sadie and Robert Arkebauer Sr., brother of Robert Arkebauer Jr., father of three daughters; Yvette, Misty and Kimberly and grandfather of eight grandchildren; Rachel, Alyssia, Robert, Orion, Benjamin, Sadie, Indi and Ella. Dennis was a true family man who loved all three of his daughters and adored all his grandchildren.
A visitation will be held 6-8 PM Wednesday February 22, 2017 and funeral service 11 AM Thursday February 23, 2017 at, Hardage Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd Orange Park, FL. Interment to follow 2 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road Jacksonville, Florida 32218.
