Clark Mackin Attebury, 86, of East St. Louis died Thursday, Feb. 21. Visitation after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A recitation of the rosary will be said at 4 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral mass at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Philip Church. Burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville. John Barnes Funeral Home.
He was a member of the retired Federal Employees Club, Knights of Columbus Council 982 and the St. Philip Senior Club.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Loftus and Emma Eiler.
He is survived by his wife, the former Lydia Howard; three sons, David Howard Attebury of Pearl River, N.Y.; Frederick Grant Attebury of St. Clair, Mich. and John Carlyle Attebury of Garden City, N.Y.; a daughter, Mrs. Austin (Ellen Jane) McDowell of Champaign, IL. and 16 grandchildren.
