Services for Margaret Nell Henson Lincoln, 77, of Palestine will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Dan Bubach officiating. Burial will be in Land of Memory Cemetery.

Mrs. Lincoln died Monday in a Tyler hospital after a brief illness.

She was born April 4, 1926 in Palestine to William G. Henson and Janie Hulda Garland Henson.

Mrs. Lincoln was born and reared in Palestine and lived here most of her life until her retirement to Lake Jacksonville. She had been employed in the claims department of Union Pacific Railroad. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, James Russell Lincoln, who died in 1991; and brother, William G. Henson.

Mrs. Lincoln is survived by daughter, Becky Cooksey and husband Bill of Palestine; son, James "Rusty" Lincoln Jr. of Palestine; sisters, Rachel Henson Depew of San Antonio, Olive Henson Hendrick of Keller and Loma Henson Koenig of Rosenberg; brother, John Riley Henson of Palestine; granddaughter, Neili Cooksey of College Station; and a grandson, Cody Cooksey of College Station.

Pallbearers will be grandson, Cody Cooksey; and nephews, Kevin Depew, Roger Depew, Carlos Hendrick, Norman Henson and Gordon Koenig.

Condolence calls will be received at the funeral home 30 minutes prior to funeral services on Sunday.
