Cornelia DeFabio Becker, age 87, of the Town of Marlboro, died Friday, November 14, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Hospital, in Poughkeepsie, NY. Connie was born January 25, 1927 in Marlboro, NY. She is the daughter of the late Ralph & Cornelia Atkins Partington, Sr. She is the Widow of William M. DeFabio and Malcolm Becker.
Cornelia is survived by her Son, William M. DeFabio of Marlboro, Daughters Gayla & Ralph Fedele of Millbrook, NY and Wendy & Tom Barbieri of New Paltz, NY. Brother Ralph & Joan Partington, of Marlboro, and Sisters Mildred Eckert of Poughkeepsie, Winifred & Paul Malora of Florida, and Velda lPreston of New Mexico. Grandchildren Eric & Janene Patterson Barbieri, Lisa & Robert Pratt, Three Great Grandchildren, Matthew, Courtney & Robert Jr.
Cornelia was a former member of the Ladies Aux of the Marlboro Hose Co #1, and the Ladies Guild of the Christ Episcopal Church, as well as an Avid Bowler.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 16 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Service will take place on Monday Morning 10:30 at the funeral Home, with Rev. Dave Ballou.
Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh.
