Mina A. Moon was born to William H. and Mamy Moon. She had one brother William Moon, Jr. and six sisters, Ruthie (who died as an infant) Stella, Flora, Mary, Opal and Joan. She married Roland Oravetz and had five children - Donnie Roland, Patsy Jean, Kenneth Wayne, George Lee and Judy Kaye. They had 12 grandchildren, Jimmy, Deborah and Jerry Yates; Scott, Lesa, Keith, Michael, Jennifer and Kevin Oravetz and Gayla, Jan and Jill Humphrey. She loved her family and loved doing things for them. Her Sunday afternoon visits from her children and grandchildren were the highlight of her week. She had a stroke in December 1978 and was hospitalized for a while. While making a recovery at home she suffered another series of strokes and died in South Community Hospital in January, 1979.
