Roberta (Richard) Novey, 92, of Old Saybrook, Ct., formerly of Glastonbury, Ct., died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 in Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of the late Dr. Ernest E. Novey, Jr., and predeceased by her parents, Robert and Jennie (Colligan) Richard, 3 brothers and 6 sisters.
She is survived by her children; Cynthia Tessier and her husband David, Roxanne Siff and her husband John, Ernest Novey III, Kurt Novey, and grandchildren; Evan Siff and wife Laura, Ernest Novey, IV and wife Joy, and Alisha Novey and husband Sam Jurkowski. She also leaves 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She served on the Altar Guild at St. James Church, Glastonbury, and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Old Saybrook.

There will be a Memorial Service at St. James Church, 2584 Main St., Glastonbury, on Thursday, Feb. 23, at 10:30am. Burial will follow immediately in St. James Cemetery.
