Rev. Titus N. Pruitt passed away on February 20, 2017 at Sabine Medical Center. He was a resident of Toledo Retirement Center. He is survived by his wife Jackye Hopkins Pruitt, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by parents John L Pruitt and Quincy Pruitt, six brothers and one sister.

Titus was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean war as a chef. He was a pastor in the Pentecostal faith, and spent many years spreading the Word. He worked many years as a contractor for telephone companies traveling and working around the country, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Isles. He was also employed by the U.S. Postal Service in later years. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tell stories of his childhood and friends and travels. He will be greatly missed by all.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on February 23, 2017 at Warren Cemetery on Pump Station Road. The Reverend Philip North will officiate.
