Lisa was born November 13, 1964, in Flint to Robert Shepard and Helen Lorraine Raquepaw. Lisa was proud to be the mother of Ryan and Regeena and she loved them both fiercely. She never asked more out of life than to share in their dreams for the future. She loved everything Native American including feathers, turquoise jewelry, and braids. Lisa knew a lot about plants in nature and she could easily identify every flower in a bouquet. Put the sun in the sky, her children’s voices in the air and her grandsons in view and Lisa knew heaven on Earth.
She is survived by her son, Ryan Workman (Tory Boccaccio) ,and daughter, Regeena Workman (Nick Cooper), grandsons: Noah Workman and Brayden Butcher: mother, Helen Shepard: siblings, Mike (Sheliah) Shepard, Charles (Nancy) Shepard, Rex (Diane) Shepard, Scott Shepard and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert, her brother Robert II, and her sister Rita Olmstead.
May you walk gently through the world and know its beauty all the days of your life. –Apache Blessing
