Katherine S. Gonzagowski, 75, of Mesa, AZ, passed away Feb. 8, 2017. She is survived by her brother Bruce Gonzagowski, Mesa, AZ and many close friends and relatives. She was born in Mauston, WI on July 29, 1941. Her parents were Joseph and Myrtle Gonzagowski who preceded her in death. She spent most of her adult life in Madison, WI, where she worked for 40 plus years as an LPM at the Central Center for the developmentally disabled. Following the death of her sister-in-law Patricia Gonzagowski (Williams) she moved to Baraboo, WI to be with her brother. They spent 7 winters as snowbirds in Mesa before moving there in May of 2016. Katherine was very active in the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary holding offices at the local, state and national level. In 1989 she was installed as the National Grand Madam President and spent 12 months visiting Aeries in Canada and the US. She was also an avid sports fan and loved watching her Badgers, Brewers and Packers. She was a charter member of the Madison Packer Backers. In her 20's she played on a traveling fast pitch softball team for Red Dot Foods. She played in many tournaments in Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa. She loved to travel and spend time in Europe, Canada, Mexico and all 50 states. She also went on many cruises. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Redlin Funeral Home in Baraboo, WI. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Monona Grove, WI. Memorial may be sent in Katherine's name to Home on the Range, 16351 I-94, Sentinel Butte, ND 58654.
