Cora married Dr. James Haley (1831-1887) on Sept. 12, 1860, in Hinds County, MS. James was the son of David W. Haley (1793-1857) & his first wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" Fleinor (1793-1848), who married on Oct. 29, 1825, in Roane County, TN.
James & Cora moved to Texas in 1870. Their first 3 children were born in Mississippi. In 1870, the family was living in Brenham, Washington County, TX. By 1880, they were in Moffat, Bell County, TX, where James died.
