Olive and Lee Deacy born in Cedarville.
William Washington Deacy was from there and died in Cedarville.
--------------------------
Lee Deacy was the son of William Deacy, not his father. The person who said that William Washington Deacy died in Cedarville wasn't correct. William and his wife lived in Cedarville for many years but they moved to the S.F. bay area before 1920, and William died in Alameda County in 1937. Notice that his son Lee died in Glenn County (north of Sacramento), but Lee was buried in Alameda County. I wonder if it was because his father William was there in the same cemetery in Alameda County??

William Washington Deacy married Nancy Alice Zimmerman (1859-1932), who was a daughter of Mrs. Nancy Shackleford and a previous husband before she married James Shackleford (the Mrs. Shackleford who is buried in Cedarville).

I tried to find out more about William Deacy when he died, but the last mention of him in Modoc County I could find was when William and Nancy sold their property in Cedarville in 1923.
