Judith Gail DeLamar Abbott, age 72, of London, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016. She was born September 27, 1944 in Manning, Arkansas to Gail Lee and Oleta David DeLamar.

She was a hard worker and excellent friend to many. Judy was very sweet and compassionate to all that knew her. She graduated from Sparkman High School and attended Texas A & M University. Judy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sparkman, Arkansas, and a long time member and supporter of the Missouri Fox Trotter Horse Breed Association.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Matthews.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 52 years, Dr. William Abbott of London; her daughter and son-in-law, Tanya Lee Abbott Graf and Dr. Greg Graf of Lexington, Kentucky; a son and daughter-in-law, William Brent and Jamie Burk Abbott of London; three sisters, Olene Peterson of Camden, Doris Mann of Sparkman and Paula Jackson of Serepta, Louisiana; the loves of her life, her six grandchildren, Lauren and David Graf of Lexington, Taylor, Tori, Sydney and Rhett Abbott, all of London.

Visitation in Russellville will be 5-6 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
On Wednesday, November 9, 2016 visitation will be 12:30-1:00 p.m., at Sparkman First United Methodist Church with service to follow at 1:00 p.m., with Peggy Abbott officiating.

Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery near Sparkman and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville
