James “Jay” Wade Morgan, Jr. 69 of Star died Friday, November 11, 2016 at his home. Born April 27, 1947 in High Point he is a son of Margaret Mclean Morgan of Biscoe and the late James Wade Morgan, Sr.
In addition to his mother Mr. Morgan is survived by a daughter Brandi Morgan of High Point and two brothers; Steve Morgan of Thomasville, and Tim Morgan of Huntsville, Alabama and two sisters; Teresa Gentry of Hays and Robin Jones and husband Tony of Candor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by a brother Marshall Morgan.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of “Jay” Morgan will be held 2:00 pm Friday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, High Point. The family will greet friends following the service.
