Mrs. Catherine Hornback, age ninety-two years, widow of W. T. Hornback, a former sheriff of LaRue County, died Thursday, November 16, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in this city. She was a former resident of Hodgenville, but had resided at Magnolia for the past several years.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Frances) Orrender, of near Hodgenville, and Mrs. Edna VanCleave, of Louisville; two sons, Mason Hornback, of Sonora, Route 2, and William M. Hornback, of Louisville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Lillie Brock, of Mattoon, Ill.; fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Parker, of Magnolia, and two brothers, Silas Reynolds, of Greensburg, Ky., and Goebel Reynolds of Magnolia.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Chapel at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with interment in Red Hill Cemetery here.
