He was a son of Jim and Mollie Reaves Jones of Warren.
He was an employee of the Potlatch Corp., and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Warren.
Survivors, other than his parents, are his wife, Mrs. Lois Neal Jones, Warren; one son, Charles Douglas Jones, Springhill, Louisiana; one brother, James C. Jones, Warren; one sister, Mrs. Cora Bell Stevens, Furnice, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Misty and Doug Jones.
Funeral was at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 18, at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Forrest Bynum officiating.
Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.
