Max McKay was one of the nicest people you could ever meet in this life. He was an honest, hard working man and had strong religious faith. He worked at LOF for over 30 years. He helped out so many people who were down on their luck, including myself. My vehicle broke down in 2011 and I had to junk it because it was very old. Max was the only person who helped me get to the grocery store, to doctor appointments and even to work without ever taking a penny of gas money. There was also an elderly neighbor of his that he used to take grocery shopping as well. I'll never forget the time I was in the hospital for 4 days and he came to my home every day to feed my 2 cats and check on them.He also picked me up at the hospital when I was discharged and I had no other way home. Not many people would even go out of their way to help someone else. His kindness will never be forgotten. May Max rest in peace.
