Verdine Werner, 87, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday morning. Feb. 21, 2017.

Verdine was born Dec. 6, 1929 in Finger, Tenn. She was a member of the Saginaw Park Baptist Church. She loved her grandkids, her garden and the good Lord above.
She is preceded in death by husbands, Barney Barnes and Ed Werner; many brothers and sisters; son, Gary Barnes; and grandson, Ryan Barnes.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Franks; son, Windell Barnes; grandsons, Donnie Franks, Jason Barnes, Randy and Scotty Barnes; granddaughter, Monica Franks; great-grandchildren, Veronica Franks, Riley, Boldin and Gunner Barnes, Courtney, Garrah, Makoy, Christian and Clayton Barnes.
