Death Is Busy With Its Harvest, Takes Cheboygan People

William Bellant a young man well known in this city, died at his home in the second ward on Sunday night, after a brief illness, which began several months ago, in the young man's injuring his foot by running a rusty nail in it. From that time he has not been well, and soon after was taken with what some are pleased to call quick consumption. The funeral was held on Tuesday from St Mary's church and his remains interred in Calvary cemetery. He leaves a widow and two children, besides a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Bellant, and a brother and two sisters. Published in the Cheboygan Democrat, Friday, February 12, 190, Page 2.
