Clair W. Lamey, 71, of Loganton RD 1, died of natural causes at his residence, Friday, August 4, 1989.
Mr. Lamey was a life resident of Sugar Valley, where he was a farmer and breeder of Guernsey cattle. He was a member of the Guernsey Cattle Association of America.
He was born January 24, 1918, in Livonia, a son of the late Lee and Anna Slaterbeck Lamey. On December 15, 1936, he married the former Lucille Embick, who survived him.
He was also survived by two daughters; two sons; three sisters: Pearl Glunt of Pleasant Gap; Kathryn Herman of Port Matilda and June Imes of Port Royal; four brothers: Joe of Mill Hall; Ray of Rebersburg, Jack of Mackeyville and Fred of Loganton RD2; 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Schuyler Ramm Funeral Home, Loganton, with the Reverend Kenneth E. Geisewite officiating.
Burial was at Eastville Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

EASTVILLE--Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Lucille Embich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Embich, and Clair Lamey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee. Lamey.
The ceremony was performed last December 15 at the bridegroom's home by the Reverend John Boone, of the Church of the Brethren.
