Ms. Willemin, age 90, passed away at Glens Falls Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Nolen) Plant.

She was a retired elementary school teacher at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic School in Ridgewood, New Jersey. She was an accomplished organist and pianist and used that talent throughout her life.

She was an actor with many community theater groups in Ridgewood, New Jersey and the Rodney Players in Glen Rock, New Jersey.

She had memberships over the years in many church choirs: St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Chestertown, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake George and Annunciation in Queensbury.

She was a volunteer as a pianist at the Adirondack Tri County Nursing Home in North Creek. She loved the Adirondacks as a young girl she came to Loon Lake and stayed at the Loon Lake House with her parents.

Later her and her husband stayed at the Friends Lake Inn with their children. In later years they purchased a home on Friends Lake and retired there. They enjoyed entertaining family and friends either at their home in New Jersey or at Friends Lake.

She was a devoted listener to Turner Classic Movies and EWTN Mother Angelica. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Besides her parents; she was predeceased by her husband Richard John Willemin, Sr. At the time of his death, they were married for 60 years.

Survivors include one son of Somers, New York; one daughter of Queensbury; and four grandsons.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Isaac Jogues-St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Chestertown.

Services were held at the Barton-McDermott Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Pine Street, Chestertown, NY prior to services.
