Ed was born April 15, 1955 to Wallace Edward and Rose Gertrude Stouffer.
He was an Eagle Scout, Mason and a Shriner, as were his dad and grandfather.
Ed worked at numerous jobs until he opened Ed's Welding and Auto Repair and also recycled antifreeze for over 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and an infant sister, Rita.
Ed is survived by his wife, Gail; children, Joseph (Stephanie) Tetting, James (Sandy) Tetting and Jonathan Tetting. Also Sandra, who is the mother of his children, Edward John Stouffer, Jr., and Jennifer (Luke) Stouffer; sisters, Patricia (John) Moore, Carolyn (Kenneth) Halti, Dorothy (Darrell) Johnson and a brother, Carl Stouffer; many other relatives and friends.
GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 12 Noon until the 1 p.m. Masonic Service, which is open to the public Saturday, Jan. 14, in the Iron River Community Center. Food and celebration to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota, Duluth.
