Born March 11, 1929 in Grampian, PA, she was the daughter of Francis and Genevieve (Rafferty) Mallon. Mrs. Yingling was retired from the Clearfield County Board of Assistance Office and was a member of St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Brothers Frank, Paul, Charles "Chick", Thomas and Fr. Tiernan "Joe" Mallon, and sister Mary Kay Wood.
Surviving is a son Tiernan S. Mallon of Greensburg, and 3 stepchildren Nancy and husband Charles Lanich of Curwensville, Betty and husband John Crance of Grampian, and George and wife Darlene Shaffer of New Buffalo, NY.
Also surviving is a grandson Thomas Mallon, numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a sister Marie and husband Curt Barnes of Hughesville. In addition she is survived by 2 sister-in-laws Sylvia Mallon and Mary Ellen Mallon; and numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Yinging was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Theodore Yingling; five brothers, Frank, Paul, Charles "Chick", Thomas and Father Tiernan "Joe" Mallon; and a sister, Mary Kat Wood.
Interment will be at Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc., Curwensville, tomorrow from7-9 p.m. and from 9-9:45 a.m. Friday, at which time the procession will depart for the church.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society
