Maxime "Mack" Hebert

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Holy Rosary Catholic Church for Maxime "Mack" Hebert, 79, who died at his residence on December 20th following a lengthy illness. The Rt Rev Msgr. Armand Cyr, pastor, officiated. He was born in Frenchville April 8, 1891, and was the son of Florent and Clarisse Rossignol Hebert.

Hebert was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and had been a resident here for many years.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs Geneva Devoe Hebert, Caribou; four sons, Leo and Joseph of Caribou, Romeo of Limestone and Wilfred of Bangor; five daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Rose) Comeau and Mrs. Lydia Wilcox of Portland, Mrs. Joseph (Anita) Chaloult and Mrs. Freema (Leona) Wright of Caribou and Mrs. Albert (Clarina) Nadeau, Bristol, CT; two brothers, Victor of Waterville and Jerome of Winslow; 14 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.

The Lancster Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery next spring. Pallbearers were Donald Hebert, Robert Hebert, Leo Hebert, Jr., Richard Hebert, Bill Hebert and Freeman Wright, Jr.
