years as an electrician. He was self-employed and also worked for a few other
companies.
Mr. Zent is survived by his daughter, Karen (Todd) Burch of Walkerton; son, Dr.
Aaron Patrick (Brigit) Zent of Felton, CA; three stepsons, David (Debbie) Schriefer
of Detroit, MI, Tom (Sandy) Schriefer of Bourbon, IN, and Donald Schriefer of South
Bend; two grandsons, Nathan Burch and Eric (Jeanna) Burch; three
great-grandchildren, Kindra, Dwight and Wren Burch; and several step-grandchildren
and step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at the
Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00-7:00
p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 202 N. Main Street, North
Liberty, IN.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Billy Dean Zent may be donated to
Hospice Foundation, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545; or to North Liberty
