Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Laura Mae St. John, 77, passed away January 23, 1999 at home after a lingering illness.

Born July 9, 1921, Ogden, Utah to John Henry Hobbs and Hester Shilts. Married Gerald E. St. John on October 17, 1945 in Las Vegas, Nevada. An active member of the Moose Lodge for many years.

Survived by husband, Gerald (John) St. John, Salt Lake; sons, Robert Pine (Fay), Salt Lake; Ronald E. St. John (Teri), Sterling, Utah; Glen R. St. John (Judy), Salt Lake; daughters, Janet Falkner (Don) and Ramona Payne (Jeff), both of Salt Lake; sister, Faye Beagley; brother, Leland Hobbs; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 1999, 11 a.m. at the Monument Park 10th Ward, 1930 South 2100 East. Friends may call from 10-10:45 a.m. the day of the service at the church. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Cannon Mortuary, funeral directors.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Vista Care Hospice, 4424 South 700 East, Murray, Utah 84107.
