The graveside service is Monday for Vivian Irene Staley of Fall Creek who died Sept. 13 at the age of 85. Pastor Don Parks, Fall Creek Christian Church will officiate at the 2 p.m. service in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Buell Chapel. Vivial Staley, the daughter of Warren and Berdie McCaflin, was born Nov. 7, 1899 in Granton, Wisc. She married Forrest Staley on Aug. 9, 1922 and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Lowell Grange. Surviving are two daughters, Hazel Winfrey of Fall Creek and B. Fern McDaniel of Springfield; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Russell McCaflin and his wife, Myrtle, of Cotton Wood, Calif; and a sister, Retta Blevins of Coalville, Utah. A grandson, Authrin Winfrey preceded her in death in 1969. Donations may be made in her memory to the heart fund.
