Nar Alice (Pifer Holm) Chesla of Coolidge, AZ and Soldotna, AK, died peacefully surrounded by family in Mesa, Arizona on February 22nd 2017 at the age of 74. The earth lost a truly blithe spirit. Fun loving and effervescent, she brought happiness and joy to everyone she met. An avid traveler she enjoyed the thrill of new places. She will be remembered and missed for her beautiful smile, her sometimes feisty opinion, love of life and unyielding devotion to family and friends. Nar was always on the spot with a camera capturing precious moments for family and friends. Helping women feel good about themselves was foremost in Nar’s efforts as a hair dresser for over 40 years in North Dakota and Alaska.

Nar is predeceased by her husband Leo Holm and parents Roy and Jewel Pifer. Nar is survived by her loving husband Joe Chesla of 18 years. They were married in Anchorage Alaska on January 23rd 1999.

Lots of the Holm relatives in Valley City, ND with many nieces and nephews in MN and ND.
