1971 Final Rites For Mrs. MARY GISI MARY I. GISI, daughter of the late DAVID RUSH MORRISON and JOSEPHINE REED MORRISON, was born in St. Mary's , Missouri on April 21, 1892, and died in Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, on April 10, at the age of 78 years, 11 months, and 19 days. She was United in marriage to EDMOND P. GISI at St. Mary's, Missouri on November 19, 1915, and to this union nine children were born. Mr. GISI preceded her in death on June 10, 1946. Mrs. GISI moved with her husband to a farm south-east of Essex immediately after her marriage, and in which place she spent the remainder of her life in the same house to which she moved. Mrs. GISI was a member of Trotter General Baptist Church. She is survived by six sons, GLENNON GISI of St. Louis, CHARLES, RAYMOND, and HAROLD GISI all of Essex. EUGENE and WILBERT GISI both of Dexter, Missouri; by three daughters, Mrs. ETHEL FRENCH of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Mrs. MARTHA JO HICE of Gurnee, Illinois; and Mrs. STELLA JENNINGS of Dexter, Missouri; by 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; by six sisters, Mrs. MAE BROWN and Mrs. CARA GISI both of Perryville, Mrs. ALMA JUENGER, Mrs. CLARA BEHRLE, and Mrs. LENNIE BLAIR all of St. Louis, and Mrs. CORENE DOBBS of DeSoto, a number of other relatives and many friends. Four brothers, CLARENCE, OLIVER, WILLIS, and McKINLEY MORRISON all preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted in Rainey Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Tuesday afternoon April 12. Rev. RONNIE LEDBETTER and Rev. RAY BARBER officiating. Interment will follow in Dexter Cemetery. Rainey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
