"Funeral services for Sedalia Stafford Hunt, 66, of 505 East Dison Avenue, will be held at noon Wednesday at Watts Chapel with the Rev. David Houston officiating. Burial will be in Whitaker Cemetery under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Reginald Robinson, Tyrus Robinson, Ricky Jordan, Walter Hunt, Nathaniel Hunt and Anthony Hunt. Mrs. Hunt died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 1987, in Memphis, Tennessee, following a short illness. She was born September 4, 1921 in Lodi, Texas. She attended Cass County public schools and Wiley College in Marshall. She worked as a postal worker until she retired in 1985. She was a member of Wide Awake Club, the Sunday School and Mount Olive C.M.E. Churc in Memphis, Tennessee. Survivors include three sons, Walter Hunt, Nathaniel Hunt and Anthony Hunt, all of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Harold Stafford, of Dallas, and James Stafford, of San Antonio; one sister, Evelyn Stafford Robinson, of Memphis, Tennessee; and a number of cousins."
