Betty M. Keenan, 84, of Danbury, beloved wife of the late Robert J. Keenan, Sr., passed away peacefully on March 1, 2017.

Betty was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Potter. She was a graduate of Milford High School and had worked for the Barden Corp. She later went on to work as an Inspector at the former Davis & Geck Company, prior to her retirement.

Betty is survived by her children: Bob Keenan and his wife, Linda, of Danbury; her daughter Linda Barbour of Beverly Hills, FL. Her grandchildren: Heather Martin-Feld and husband, John Feld; Tammy Keenan; T.J. Martin and his fiancée, Elise Moncada; Christopher Martin; and her step-granddaughter Kristyn Brocious. Her great grandchildren: Jalen Lake and Olivia Martin. Her great-great-granddaughter: Bryonnah Lake. Her sister: Doris Butka of Trumbull. Her sisters-in-laws: Gertrude Brew and her husband, Jim; and Margaret Cessario. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her brother, Walter Potter; and sister, Grace McGill; her sisters and brothers- in-law Helen and John Ledan; Walter and Genevieve Keenan; Dorothy and Alex Clement; John Butka; Walter McGill and Patricia Potter.

Funeral services will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at the Green Funeral Home on Monday evening, March 6, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
