Donald J. Foust, 83, of Washingtonville passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born March 11, 1933, he was a son of the late A. Lambert “Bert” and Grace (Diehl) Foust. He was married to the former Sue L. Flora until her passing in 2007.
Donald was a graduate of Washingtonville High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict, being stationed at the 38th parallel.
He owned Foust Brothers Appliance and M.K. Foust Auto Sales, both in Washingtonville. Donald also worked at Jack Metzger Auto Group, Danville, for 38 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and restoring old tractors and backhoes.
Donald is survived by two stepsons: Kim and his wife, Dawn Heffelfinger, of Danville; Glenn Heffelfinger and Jennifer McWilliams of Danville; five step-grandchildren: Shawn, Nicole, Kayla, Andrea and Sydney; and three step-great-grandchildren: Greyson, Storm and Draven.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his three brothers: Robert, Bill and Dave Foust; and two sisters: Margaret and Marie Foust.
In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held.
