Listed as "W. Calfey" on the cemetery record, Walker Calfee was the son of Henry D. Calfee and Sarah Ann Bailey, and twin to Walter Calfee. He married Margaret L. "Maggie" Houchins (McCoy) on March 13, 1895 in Mercer Co., WV. Walker was a brakeman on the railroad and belonged to Grand Lodge #533, Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. After his death, his widow collected $1,200 as the union insurance benefit. Walker and Maggie were the parents of Myrtle Alma and Hazel Violet.
