She was born on July 14, 1930, in Brown County, Texas, to the late Arthur Ealy and Maggie (Baird) Switzer.

Jane married Lonzo John (L.J.) Lovelady in 1947.

Preceding her in death were her husband and her daughter Barbara Faye Hollingsworth; and her siblings Fannie Marie Stephens, Greta Mae Kline, Ida Lee Jackson, Arthur Junior Switzer, Bettie Nell Yancy, Thomas Lee Switzer, William Edmond Switzer, and Otis Jewel Switzer.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday.

The funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday.

Burial will follow at Fall Creek Cemetery in Spicewood, TX.

Beatrice Jane Lovelady, age 86, passed peacefully from this life into the presence of the Lord surrounded by her loving family on the afternoon of Feb. 22, 2017, in San Marcos, TX, after a brief period of declining health.
