The original Polish spelling of his surname was Saczała & early US records are almost impossible to find due to mispellings. Albert was the son of Agnieszka Piechowska & Antoni Saczała.
He married Anna Mann in Poland & the couple immigrated to the US, settling in Des Lacs, Ward County, North Dakota where they had four children: Carolina Maria, Alfred Wladystaw and twins Frank Victor & Frances Victoria. The family moved to Wisconsin in the 1920's. Daughter Roseann was born after his death.
