0 (zero) Children of Thomas Branson (1778-1851) and third wife Susannah.

Reuben Branson DOB - March 13,1813 - DOD - March 16, 1907.
Reuben Born in the Cumberland Mountains, Tennessee - maybe a cave.
This Reuben first married Sarah Crismon/Chrisman.
(Her 2 brothers, Stephen and Moses died enroute on the Oregon Trail.)

Later widowed, Reuben married Harriet Slater. A 1906 news article has Reuben and Harriet living in Oklahoma with daughter, Samantha Phelps.

He died on his stepdaugther's farm near Judge, MO in 1907.
Source cite Reuben's death at Shan Mosely's near Judge, MO - which has been learned was at his stepdaughter's (Mary Ellen West) and husband (Shannon A. Mosley) farm.

E. Laverne Baker Shull, renown Branson Historian thought Reuben is buried in Judge Branson Cemetery. No record or stone found.

Translation of photo of German article about Reuben published on March 29, 1907:
Reuben Branson, the oldest man in neighboring Osage County, died last week at the age of 95.

Do not confuse him with other Reuben Branson's within same line, This is NOT the Reuben whom Branson, MO was named for.

Next direct line is:
Reuben and Sarah's daughter - Amanda (Find A Grave Memorial# 33688215) married Stephen Owens.
Was told he was buried at Pointers Creek cemetery, MO.

Burials in what were Family cemeteries on their land: probably not existing, but any hope of Ledgers or Written lists of names would be so helpful.

Noted there is a book on Reuben Branson stating married
1. Sarah Crismon
2. Harriet Slater
Would like to find this book.

Child of Reuben and Harriet Slater Mosley:
William Olive Branson Find A Grave Memorial # 20491433

April 2020 - Noted per Dave Smeds - ( Branson Historian):
Madison Sanders Branson(1821–1871), Stephen(1822–1866) , Andrew Cornessus(1826–1894), were NOT Thomas and Anna' son. These three were not siblings of Reuben.
Madison, Stephen, and Andrew Cornessus were all sons of Jared Branson (ca. 1803-ca.1838), and should be not placed here under Thomas and Anna's children. (email sent to their pages to please remove incorrect parents)
