MISS KARLS DIES AT 84 IN HOSPITAL
Miss Lena Karls, 84, of 94 Fifth St., died at 1:30 a.m. today at St. Agnes Hospital.
She was born on Dec. 8, 1885, at Charlesburg, a daughter of Theodore and Gertrude Franzen Karls.
Miss Karls was a member of St. Mary’s Church and at one time was employed at the Fond du Lac Shirt Factory.
She was the last member of her family and is survived only by nieces and nephews. Four brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services for Miss Karls will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Zacherl Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church. The Rev. John H. Goebel will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
