Mrs. Abbott was born on April 12, 1950 in Elmhurst, IL the daughter of the late Charles Frost and Edna Johnson Frost. She was a Retired Registered Nurse and a member of Word of Life Gospel Ministries. She enjoyed cross-stitching, sewing and hunting arrowheads. She was also a history buff and loved animals especially cats. She touched many lives and loved her family, God and her church very much.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Vernon Abbott; daughters, Mary Beth Wester (Danny) of Carrollton, GA; Casie Marlow (Clay) of Bremen, GA and Brandy Abbott of Hilton Head SC; grandchildren, Jamie and Jeremy Mathis, Kaleb Nixon, Gatlin Marlow, Jubei, Jordyn and Jace Cone; great grandchild, Hayleigh Adams; brothers, Charles Frost (Sharon) of Franklin, GA, Robert Frost of Carrollton, GA; sisters, Mary Ahls (Bill) of Tucson, AZ and Jo Ann Frost of Carrollton, GA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Word of Life Gospel Ministries with Pastor Keith Jiles officiating.
Interment will be in the Carrollton City Cemetery.
Members of the family will serve as pallbearers.
