Loreen was a very special person with a heart of gold. She was a dear friend that I had lost touch with and was very sad when I found her obit. We were neighbors in Arizona and we referred to her as the "bird lady". I went on many bird rescues with her and learned so much from her.
Loreen was the founder of a bird rescue and rehab organization, "For The Birds", which saved thousands of birds.
