Daughter of Mary Ann (Willett) and Robert Rose. Wife to Robert Bowling Hord.

MRS. MINERVA HORD.
Mrs. Minerva Hord, wife of Mr. R. B. Hord, died early this morning at her home near Rectorville, after an illness of two weeks.

She was about 70 years of age and is survived by her husband and six children -- Messrs. Abner, Thornton, Oscar, and Dr. W. H. Hord, Miss Mollie Hord, and Mrs. Nannie Teager of Tollesboro.

Mrs. Hord was one of Mason county's highly respected women, and her death is most sincerely mourned.

The time of the funeral has not yet been decided on, but the interment will probably take place tomorrow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
