Delores Terese Haley, of Cumberland, WI was 87 years of age when she passed away and into the arms of Jesus, on March 5, 2017, at Maple Ridge Care Center, Spooner, WI. She is preceded in death by her husband, John; her beloved infant son, Kevin Matthew Haley (poss.#92263026); parents, Arnold and Marie (Valois) Lindberg; sisters, Imogene Weber, Rita Lindberg, Carol Darwin, Claire Lindberg, Lois Lindberg, and Bonnie McDonald; sisters-in-law; Frances Spitzack and Marian Spitzack.
After high school, Delores graduated from Beauty School. She married John Haley in St. Paul, MN on October 23, 1948; he preceded her in death on August 3, 1996. Delores was very active as a lector at St. Mary's Church in Cumberland and then later at St. Anthony Catholic Church. She sang in the choir, was active with the ladies aide societies and taught Religious Education for several years. Very near and dear to her heart was the TOPS Club and was an adult lifelong member. Delores loved growing and tending her beautiful Peony bushes and African Violets. She loved being with her children and was very involved in their lives. Delores also had a wonderful relationship with her grandchildren and her "bonus" grand-children as well. People will always remember Delores for her willingness to always help others.
