Robert Gordon "Bob" Allred, our father, grandfather, uncle, friend and spiritual leader rejoined his wife and sweetheart Marie Goff Allred and grandchild Ada May Schemel, peacefully in his sleep early morning February 21, 2017. Bob was born on September 8, 1930 in Lehi, Utah to parents Herman Elisha Allred and Ada May Gilchrist Allred. Bob taught at Brea-Olinda High School for 35 years, teaching English, Speech, Drama and Spanish (which he learned while serving a mission for the LDS Church in Texas/Mexico). Bob is survived by his daughter Sharon Kaye Fisher, his sons Gordon Robert Allred and Craig Gilchrist Allred, his daughters Linda Raddatz, Nancy Nielsen and Heidi Schemel. He leaves behind 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday March 11, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 151 N Poplar Ave., Brea, CA at 10:00 AM. A viewing will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 at Memory Garden, 455 W Central Ave., Brea, CA from 5-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the LDS Perpetual Education Fund may be made at www.ldsphilanthropies.org.
