She was the daughter of Allen Sutton and Lottie Hooker-Sutton. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Leon Burts. A Dedicated member of St. John Baptist Church where she was active in the Mission.
Proceeded in death by her parents and husband. Son, Allen Burts; five sisters, Emma Sutton, Robbie Sutton, Ruby Sutton, Shirley Mae Robinson, and Lucille Sutton-Beck; a brother, Sam Sutton.
Her memories will be continued through her one daughter, Barbara Burleson of Odessa; son, Lonnie Burts, of Ft. Worth, Texas; two granddaughters, Cheryl Brooks (Odessa), Angela Brooks (San Angelo), one grandson, Sam Brooks (Odessa); four great grandchildren, one great, great grandson.
