Stuart and Sallie Foote Johnston. Educated at Concord Normal. Taught school in Bluefield for six years. Married John Crocket Higginbotham of Bluefield, June 21, 1893; three children - John Jr., of Welch, Stuart Johnston of Charleston, and Mrs. Lewis Hutchinson of Athens.
