Randy Jay Isbell, 60, of Cartersville, GA, formerly of Luxora, AR, passed away on March 6, 2017 in Cartersville, GA. He was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard, a retired factory worker, Cass High School Booster Club President, competed in Jack Daniels Invitational World Cook Off – 2015, was the creator of Steel Kookin BBQ Sauce and Catering and was the winner of numerous awards for BBQ sauce and pulled pork. He is survived by his mother and step-father Dorothy Isbell Robinson and C.L. Robinson both of Jonesboro, AR, his wife Bertha ANN Sparks Isbell of Cartersville, GA, daughter Amy (Caleb) Davis of Lucedale, MS, two step-sons Mickey and Johnny Ray both of Cartersville, GA, two sisters Charlette (Michael) Drennan of Little Rock, AR and Sandra (LaFonce) Latham of Burdette, AR, one step-sister Valinda (Allen) Armstrong of Trumann, AR, four brothers Gary (Wilma) Isbell of Jonesboro, AR, Gil (Penny) Isbell of Dallas, GA, Jimbo (Vicki) Isbell of Burdette, AR and Chris (Jennifer) Isbell of Nashville, TN, one step-brother Tony (Jane) Robinson of Jonesboro, AR, two grandchildren Jaye Thomas Ladnier and Bishop Lane Ladnier both of Lucedale, MS, seven step-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Jessie "Bot" Isbell. Visitation will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 5:00 to 9:00pm at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, AR. The funeral will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 4:00pm at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, AR with Bro. C.L. Robinson officiating. Burial will be held at Potter Cemetery in Lepanto, AR. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home Tyronza, AR.

Bertha Ann Sparks Isbell was the daughter of R.T. Sparks and Ruth Mae (Pearson) Sparks(FindAGrave # 112922626).
